What does "faculty-safe" mean?
Faculty-safe means AI assistance supports learning without replacing thinking. System prompts enforce "support understanding, not produce final answers." Institutions control features, usage limits, and integrity rules to align with academic policies.
How are integrity rules applied?
Integrity rules are compiled into every assistant's system prompt. They prevent misuse (e.g., essay generation, assignment completion) and are enforced at the AI provider level. Institutions can add tenant-specific policy rules that supplement platform defaults.
Do you store AI conversations?
Yes. Conversations are stored within your tenant's isolated database with row-level security. You control retention policies and can delete data at any time. We provide aggregated insights only; no individual surveillance.
What about student privacy and data separation?
Row-level security (RLS) ensures tenant data isolation at the database level. Students' work remains private within their tenant. Staff see aggregated trends only, not individual conversations or outputs. Each institution's data is completely separated.
What's required for SSO?
SSO requires a SAML 2.0 identity provider (IdP). We support standard SAML flows including SP-initiated and IdP-initiated SSO. Domain verification ensures only authorized domains can access your tenant. Email/password authentication with optional MFA is also available.
Can we manage assistants and content?
Yes. Administrators can create, publish, and manage assistants per tenant. You control which assistants are available, their tone, capabilities, and intended use. Curriculum packs can be enabled per tenant to ground assistant responses in standards-aligned content.
How does billing work for institutions?
Institutional pricing is custom and based on deployment size, features, and terms. Volume pricing available. Billing can be per-seat, per-tenant, or usage-based depending on your needs. Contact sales for a quote.
